New Delhi: A Delhi court at Patiala House on Tuesday gave regular bail to Swatantra Bhardwaj in a case from the June 23 protest at Jantar Mantar by the Cockroach Janta Party.

The charges stem from an alleged assault on a teenage activist’s father, who claimed head injuries after objecting to being recorded. Bhardwaj was arrested in early September after a video where he boasted about the incident.
