The Enforcement Directorate (ED), a multi-disciplinary organization mandated with investigation of offence of money laundering and violations of foreign exchange laws, has today arrested Aam Aadmi Party Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh in a money laundering case linked to the investigation into the Delhi liquor policy.
According to report, the AAP leader was named by Dinesh Arora, a businessman an accused in the case who later turned “approver”.
In a video message released by the AAP on its social media handles, Mr Singh said he will continue his fight against the corruption of Narendra Modi government. He alleged that he had earlier filed complaints against industrialist Gautam Adani with ED, but the directorate did not take any action against him.

“Ready to die, but, won”t bend over (in front of power). I exposed Adani”s scams, filed complaints with ED. But no action was taken against Adani. Modi ji is losing the 2024 elections badly. They cannot win by committing atrocities and putting people in jail. I had spoken against Adani”s scams, I will continue to do so in future also,” the text accompanying Mr Singh”s video said.
Earlier, Manish Sisodia, the second in command in the party and Delhi Deputy Chief Minister, was arrested by the CBI in the alleged liquor policy scam in February this year.
