Exam season is rife with reports of paper leaks and cheating, whether it be on a competitive or board exam. The new incident of paper leak has come to light. Cheating gangs spared no means to leak information. A few days after a widespread question paper leak on the UP Police Constable exam surfaced in Haryana, the Bihar Teacher Recruitment Examination, which was held today, March 15, 2024, has seen a similar development.

Bihar Teacher Recruitment Examination is being conducted today March 15 in 2 shifts. The BPSC TRE 3 exam is held to fill a total of 87,774 vacancies in primary, secondary, and higher secondary levels.

Amid the conduct of BPSC TRE 3.0 Jharkhand Police has taken more than 200 candidates into custody at Kohinoor Hotel, Hazaribagh under the Pelawal police station, after getting information of a mass paper leak. The police are interrogating candidates in the matter. It is reported that these candidates already had the question paper and had been receiving instruction for the previous two days. These candidates boarded different buses to go to the testing location. As everyone was making their way to their centers, the cops received information and apprehended them all.

Now the matter is under investigation whether the question paper which has been recovered from the students has appeared in the examination or not. The Bihar Police has also been informed of this matter.

Reportedly, the commission recently announced the postponement of the exam scheduled on 16 March due to “unavoidable reasons”. The revised dates are yet to be announced. According to the exam schedule, the recruitment exam for Classes 6 to 8 teachers’ category was to be held in the first shift on 15 March and the Class 1 to 5 teacher category exam in the second shift. The morning shift will be held from 9.30 am to 12 noon and the afternoon shift from 2.30 pm to 5 pm.
