Kerala To Be Declared India's First State Free From Extreme Poverty On November 1

Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala: On November 1, Kerala will be declared as a state free from extreme poverty, becoming India’s first state to eradicate extreme poverty completely. Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan will officially declare the leap at a grand event in Thiruvananthapuram. The event will be held in the capital city’s Central Stadium.

Dignitaries including prominent actors Mohanlal, Mammootty, and Kamal Haasan are expected to attend the ceremony as special guests. State ministers, the Leader of the Opposition and others will also attend the grand event.
