In the  Lok Sabha Election 2024, Sher Singh Ghubaya Emerges Victorious in Firozpur with a Narrow Margin In the recently concluded Lok Sabha elections in Firozpur, Sher Singh Ghubaya of the Indian National Congress (INC) secured a total of 266,626 votes, narrowly defeating his opponents from the AAP Jagdeep Singh Kaka with a margin of 3,242 votes in Punjab.

In the middle of the counting phase, even Jagdeep Singh Kaka and Nardev Singh Bobby Mann at different times established a lead and jumped to first position but finally Ghubaya made it to victory.

Sher Singh Ghubaya, a seasoned Indian politician, has been a prominent figure in the Firozpur constituency. He previously served as a member of the Lok Sabha from Firozpur in 2009 and 2014 as a member of the Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) before joining Congress. In March 2019, he left the Shiromani Akali Das (SAD) political party.
