Lok Sabha Election Results 2024: Partha Bhowmick Wins Barrackpur Seat With A Margin Of 64438 Votes

Partha Bhowmick the Trinamool Congress candidate has secured victory in the Lok Sabha Election 2024 from Barrackpur Lok Sabha constituency with a total of 64,438 vote margin. The BJP candidate Arjun Singh secured the second position in the Barrackpur constituency.

Barakpore constituency was tossed between the Communist party and Congress in the past elections. The Mamata Banerjee lead TMC secured the Barakpore seat in 2009.

In 2019, the BJP candidate Arjun Singh secured 42.82% votes to secure the Barakpore Lok Sabha Constituency. TMC candidate Dinesh Trivedi got 41.48% votes and CPI (M) candidate Gargi Chatterjee secured 10.63% votes.

In 2014, TMC candidate Dinesh Trivedi secured the Barakpore seat with 45.59% votes whereas CPI (M) candidate Subhashini Ali reached 25.92% votes. The BJP candidate Rumesh Kumar Handa secured 21.92% votes.
