Federal Bank Sahitya Puraskaram was announced today

Federal Bank Sahitya Puraskaram was announced today at the Kerala Literature Festival (KLF) today. Tapomayiyude Achan by E Santhosh Kumar won the award in a ceremony held as part of the festival.  Acclaimed authors including Benyamin were part of the jury committee.

Along with Santhosh’s novel Aathreyakam by Rajasree, Bheemachan by N S Madhavan, Maranavamsam by P V Shajikumar and Rakthavum Sakshikalum by Anand were also shortlisted for the award.

In times of global immigrants politics, Thapomayiyude Achan has special relevance, Benyamin said while detailing the jury’s decision. He added that the novel has different shades and that has made the creative work suitable for the award.
