Industrialist Anand Mahindra offered to help Jaspreet, a 10-year-old boy who sells rolls at a street-side stall in Delhi. It was on Sunday, video of Jaspreet taking over his father’s ‘Chicken rolls’ business after latter”s death went viral on social media. His father died of brain tuberculosis.
Jaspreet has a 14-year-old sister. After their father”s demise, their mother abandoned the children and left for Punjab. The children are now residing with their uncle.
Jaspreet”s story was brought to public attention by a food vlogger Sarabjeet Singh. On Instagram, vlogger shared the post of boy making rolls at the food stall and their interactions.
Anand Mahindra who came across the video expressed his intention to help the boy and support his education.

In the video, Jaspreet said that he learnt cooking skills from his father. When the food blogger asked, where does he receive the strength to carry on, Jaspreet replies: “I am the son of Guru Gobind Singh ji. Will fight as long as I have the strength,”
