India and England are set to face off for one final time in the series at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium, Dharamsala. Having taken an unassailable 3-1 lead in the five-Test series, Team India will be keen to rest some of their players while England will play for their pride in the match, starting from March 7.
However, commentator Harsha Bhogle has raised concerns over the weather in Dharamshala as the weather forecast predicted that temperatures will fall up to 2 degrees Celsius in the city. As per the forecast, snowfall is also expected on March 7 with predictions of rain and thunderstorm between 7 am to 10 am.
Meanwhile, thundershowers are also expected on Day 2 of the play. Day 3 will have clearer skies with temperatures expected to go up to 22 degrees Celsius. Meanwhile, on Day 4 and Day 5, it will be warmer and conditions will be much better with clouds giving way to a brightening sky.
I am due to go to Dharamshala in a week. I checked the forecast today and just reading that makes me shiver. Max temperature forecast for March 07 (at this stage, hopefully it will change) is 10°. Temperature forecast at 7 am is 2°!

The rainy and chilly conditions will be more suited to the visiting English players as they are habituated to play in such atmosphere at home. It will, however, be a challenge for the Indian players and especially the spinners to keep their hands warm in order to get better grip off the ball.
However, the picturesque venue, situated at an altitude of 1,457m above sea level with snow-capped mountains at the backdrop will be a real treat for the cricketers to play in.
