IPL 2024: WATCH Rohit Sharma Arrives At 'Harbhajan Singh Pavilion'; Spin Legend Welcomes Mumbai Indians

Team India captain Rohit Sharma along with the Mumbai Indians squad arrived at the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium, Mullanpur, Chandigarh for their first practice session ahead of the IPL 2024 clash against Punjab Kings on Thursday.

In a video posted on the official social media accounts of Mumbai Indians, their former captain can be seen walking across the “Harbhajan Singh Pavilion” when someone introduces him to it. “Sir, Harbhajan Singh Pavilion,” a Mumbai Indians staff says.

“Kidhar? (Where),” Rohit Sharma responds as he looks across to find it saying “Aye, Wow. Nice!” before walking on to the pitch with his kitbag and bat.

The spin legend, himself, responded to the video as he welcomed the Indian captain along with the entire Mumbai Indians squad to his home. “Swaagat hai mere yar @rohitsharma45 and the whole team #onefamily💙,” Harbhajan Singh said.

Mumbai Indians will be looking for their third win in the IPL 2024 against Punjab Kings in Mullanpur. The five-time champions lost their last match against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) by 20 runs despite a valiant century from Sharma who remained unbeaten on 105.

Punjab Kings, meanwhile, have also won two out of their six matches but are ahead of Mumbai Indians due to their superior Net Run Rate.
