India’s shooting duo Manu Bhaker and Sarabjot Singh will aim to make history on Day 4 of the 2024 Paris Olympics. The pair has secured a spot in the bronze-medal match for the 10m air pistol mixed team event after finishing third in the qualification round.

In today’s match, the team will face South Korea, who is placed fourth. Manu Bhaker and Sarabjot Singh amassed a total of 580-20x points in the qualification round which was followed closely by Serbia, who scored 581-24x points.

Meanwhile, the gold medal match will see Turkiye and Serbia go head-to-head.

This will be Bhaker’s second medal round after the 22-year-old opened India’s medal tally with a third-place finish women’s 10m air pistol event.

In the qualification round, Bhaker was sensational with her 98s in the first two series, but a 95 in the third set pulled the team down a bit.
Meanwhile, Sarajbot, who missed out on gaining a spot in the finals of the men’s 10m air pistol event by a whisker, shot 97 in the second and third, after a 95 in the first.

Unfortunately, the one Indian team, consisting of Rhythm Sangwan and Arjun Singh Cheema, finished in the 10th spot, thus missing out on the medal rounds.
