Team India captain Rohit Sharma on Wednesday was named CEAT Men’s International Cricketer Of The Year at the CEAT Cricket Ratings Award 2023-24 for his exceptional contribution during the season.

Rahul Dravid, who was the head coach of Team India during their T20 World Cup 2024 triumph, was conferred with the ‘Lifetime Achievement Award’ for his incredible contribution to the sport while former India captain Virat Kohli grabbed the Men’s ODI Batter Of The Year for his consistency and Mohammed Shami won the Men’s ODI Bowler Of The Year for scalping 24 wickets during the 2023 World Cup.

Young India batting sensation Yashasvi Jaiswal clinched the Men’s Test Batter Of The Year for his brilliant performance in England while R Ashwin was honored with the Men’s Test Bowler Of The Year.

Board of Control For Cricket in India (BCCI) honorary secretary Jay Shah bagged the award for excellence in sports administration and expressed his confidence in the national team to bring more success in the future. He emphasized that the support of 1.4 billion people and the determination to triumph in major tournaments.

Meanwhile, England’s Phil Salt and New Zealand’s Tim Southee bagged the top honors in the T20 format.

India women’s team captain Harmanpreet Singh bagged the Women’s Indian Batter Of The Year while all-rounder Deepti Sharma clinched the Women’s Indian Bowler Off The Year award.

Tamil Nadu captain R Sai Kishore clinched the Domestic Cricketer Of The Year for guiding his Ranji Trophy team to the final last year.
