Virat Kohli Lifts T20 World Cup 2024 Trophy With Father In Fan-Photoshopped Image; Internet Goes Crazy

The Internet is a wonderland of sorts. On a positive day or in a celebratory mood, it can bring out the best memes, captions, or even photoshopped images from the fans.

A testament to that was recently visible when a fan shared a photoshopped image of former India captain Virat Kohli lifting the T20 World Cup 2024 trophy with his father, the late Prem Nath. The netizens were astonished on watching the image that was originally posted by Divyanshu Garg on his Instagram account.

“A Fan edited Virat Kohli’s T20 World Cup Trophy picture with his father.🥹❤️ (Divyanshu Garg Insta). – THIS IS GOOSEBUMPS…!!!!,” the video was captioned on X.

Soon after the video was posted on X, fans displayed their sentiments by commenting on the video. One of the fans said, “OMGGG😭🥺 @imVkohli should def see this one!”

“Best ❤️🇮🇳🏆🎊💪🥹,” another fan commented in admiration.

Kohli was adjudged the man-of-the-match for his 76-run knock in the final. His 59-ball innings was laced with six boundaries and two hits over the fence. It was, incidentally, his first and only half-century in the marquee event after a lackluster run throughout the tournament.

Following the triumph, the Team India chasemaster announced his retirement from the shortest format.

“Well, this was my last T20 World Cup.. And.. This is exactly what we wanted to achieve. This is an amazing game. I was telling Rohit today when we went out to bat I was like.. one day you feel like you can’t get a run and then you come out and things happen. God is great. I bow my head in gratitude. I am really grateful that I was able to get the job done for the team on the day it mattered the most. (On his different approach today) Just the occasion. It was now or never I knew. This is.. my last T20 game playing for India,” Kohli said after the match.
