It is indeed a worldwide concern that Generative AI may eradicate creative jobs and there has been an emergence of next-level AI grandeur, now the statement from OpenAI’s (CTO) Chief Technology Officer, Mira Murati raised intimidating remarks when she was speaking at Dartmouth’s Thayer School of Engineering.
Since AI was introduced on chatbots the previous year, there have been speculations about AI dominance taking over human-based jobs, Murati adds a pinch of salt as she states that the new technology may lead to job displacements, especially in the creative industry. The PhD level pedantic era of Artificial Intelligence would vanish most of the jobs usually done by human beings which negatively impact the workforce.

On the contrary, Murati affirmed that AI tools’ use may do wonders in education and health sectors which would lead to the development of the country and expand people’s creativity, imagination and intelligence. Murati expressed her views on the importance of helping people understand the capabilities of AI systems and how they can be integrated into workflows. She envisions a world where individuals, even in the most remote areas, can access personalised tutoring tailored to their unique way of thinking, cultural background, and interests.
She also said that AI can contribute more to climate change solutions and would create new opportunities in this domain. She pointed out the toil in creating meticulous AI generative development and its deployment further be subject to incur the willingness from government authorities, stakeholders, media organisations and the public as well.
