Microsoft-backed OpenAI has officially launched its internet browsing feature in its AI chatbot, ChatGPT. The new internet browsing capability, named “Browse with Bing”, will assist ChatGPT users in collecting more up-to-date information. “Browse with Bing” permits ChatGPT to explore the internet to help answer questions that benefit from recent information.
“Browsing, which we re-launched a few weeks ago, is moving out of beta,” OpenAI mentioned in its update. “Plus and Enterprise users no longer need to switch the beta toggle to use browse and are able to choose “Browse with Bing” from the GPT-4 model selector,” OpenAI added. “Browse with Bing” was initially introduced as a beta feature on September 27. Now, the much-awaited feature is officially accessible to all ChatGPT Plus and Enterprise subscribers. Earlier in May, OpenAI introduced a web search option via Bing. However, it was removed quickly, as it was found that ChatGPT was able to display paywalled content.

One of the other main highlights is that the DALL-E 3 has integrated with the ChatGPT. This means that ChatGPT is now allowed to respond to user requests with images. OpenAI says that users can ask for anything from a simple sentence to a detailed paragraph, and ChatGPT will translate your ideas into accurate images. It is to be noted that, earlier, ChatGPT was able to give information that it had acquired only until September 2021. Now, with the arrival of the new feature, ChatGPT is not under such restrictions, and users will get the latest information about all things happening around the globe.
