Here's What Happened When Elon Musk Asked AI Chatbot Grok To Write A Poem About Love

Billionaire Elon Musk introduced the AI chatbot Grok on November 5. Grok, which is modelled after the Hitchhiker’s Guide To The Galaxy, was introduced as a competitor to OpenAI”s ChatGPT. On November 27, Elon Musk shared a post on his X handle, and it depicts the AI chatbot Grok”s ability to write poems.

“I asked Grok to write a poem about love,” wrote Elon Musk as a caption while sharing the poem generated by Grok. The poem, starting with “In love, we find a universe aglow,” is going viral on the X platform. Earlier in March, ChatGPT made headlines by generating a poem on climate change in the style of William Shakespeare. The chatbot wrote a 28-line poem, and netizens termed it “extraordinary.” Recently, a user asked Grok to roast Elon Musk in one word. The chatbot responded to this by terming the Tesla owner “overrated” to which Musk replied, “Accurate.”

According to Elon Musk, the Grok chatbot is designed to be more sarcastic than other chatbots. The chatbot, which is trained on millions of articles and posts across the web, is based on large language model (LLM) technology. This is similar to ChatGPT. The main highlight is that Grok is integrated with X, and this gives access to a vast stream of real-time data. AI chatbots are transforming the way people interact with virtual assistants. Experts say that the AI chatbot industry is anticipated to surge at a considerable rate between 2023 and 2030.
