Billionaire Elon Musk took to his X handle to severely criticize the media reports accusing him of antisemitism. Elon Musk made this response as he faced backlash recently for agreeing with an anti-semitic tweet that accused Jews of encouraging hatred against “whites.” Earlier, the White House also released a statement, calling Elon Musk“s comment “unacceptable.”
This past week, there were hundreds of bogus media stories claiming that I am antisemitic.
Nothing could be further from the truth.
I wish only the best for humanity and a prosperous and exciting future for all.

Elon Musk slammed the accusations of antisemitism as ‘Bogus’. “This past week, there were hundreds of bogus media stories claiming that I am antisemitic. Nothing could be further from the truth,” wrote the Tesla owner on his X handle on November 20. Elon Musk also added, “I wish only the best for humanity and a prosperous and exciting future for all.” The controversy erupted on Wednesday, November 15, as Elon Musk agreed with a post on X that was falsely claiming that Jewish people were stoking hatred against white people. “You have said the actual truth,” Musk tweeted as a reply to this antisemitic post.
On Friday, November 17, the White House condemned Elon Musk for backing the antisemitic post. White House spokesperson Andrew Bates said in a statement that it is totally unacceptable to repeat the hideous lie behind the most fatal act of antisemitism in American history. “We condemn this abhorrent promotion of Antisemitic and racist hate in the strongest terms, which runs against our core values as American,” added Andrew Bates in his statement. Meanwhile, several companies have also stopped advertising on X (formerly Twitter). This includes IBM, Apple, Walt Disney, Comcast, and Warner Bros. This comes as Media Matters of America, a non-profit organisation, reported that ads on X were appearing alongside content praising Adolf Hitler and Nazis.
