Mahindra Lifespace, the real estate subsidiary of Mahindra Group, has introduced India”s first-of-its-kind home-buying experience on the Metaverse. Mahindra Lifespace launched this significant project, titled Bastion at Mahindra Citadel, in Pune”s Pimpri-Chinchwad region.

The announcement was made through a drone display at the project site in Pune as more than 500 drones illuminated the night sky, exhibiting major features of the project. The drones presented the visuals of the ecotone design and the home automation features. The drones also created a QR code on the sky that could be scanned by the audience to enter the Metaverse experience of Mahindra Citadel. With the help of this platform, users will be able to interact with elements within their homes and can also design interiors as per their preferences. Mahindra Lifespace mentioned in its statement that users are transported to their future homes even before they make their decision to purchase.

Mahindra”s new initiative is part of integrating modern technology into the real estate customer experience. Anand Mahindra, the Chairman of the Mahindra Group, also shared the images of the Metaverse experience on his X handle and captioned, “We think this is an innovation that is ‘sky-high’ so that’s how we decided to launch it! Welcome to India’s 1st Home-buying experience on the Metaverse.”

Amit Kumar Sinha, CEO of Mahindra Lifespace Developers, said that the new Metaverse experience will not only set an industry standard but also offer a unique opportunity for customers to visualise their future homes.
