NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration) has selected Billionaire Elon Musk’s SpaceX to develop a vehicle that will prepare for the space station’s safe deorbit after its operational lifespan in 2030. It was stated in a post on Musk’s X platform. SpaceX will build the vehicle that helps to pull the space station back down to the earth but NASA will supervise and take ownership to operate its missions.

SpaceX controlled by the tech mogul  Elon Musk will build a tug vehicle that helps to bring down the space station. The crew on the ISS (International Space Station) will get down in 2030 taking any crucial equipment along with them. When it was about to touch the earth reaching the point of no return at 175 miles far above the surface SpaceX’s tug vehicle would pull it down to our planet.

It would mark an end to the ISS, which has provided space information for astronauts since 2000. However, some concerns on the risk factor of any human being affected or injured by space detritus were resolved by the astronauts saying that the possibility of such things is under one in 100 billion. The re-entry will be made in a derelict area on the ocean to reduce such risks.

According to the reports, Ken Bowersox, NASA’s associate administrator for space operations mission directorate stated that the Orbital Laboratory remains a blueprint for science, partnerships and exploration and the partnerships would benefit everyone.

NASA is an independent agency of the US federal government, responsible for the civil space program and space research. It was established in 1958 and led most of America’s space exploration programs. Tesla Owner Elon Musk’s SpaceX manufactures and launches the world’s most advanced rockets and spacecraft.
