A Twitter user named Abhishek Kumar, also a journalist, revealed that the original woman in the video was Zara Patel, a British Indian. Abhishek Kumar also shared the original and fake video on his X account and highlighted the need for new legal and regulatory measures to combat the spread of fake content on the internet. Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan also shared this video on his social media timeline and called for legal action. “Strong case for legal,” wrote Amitabh Bachchan on his x handle.

However, it changes into the face of Rashmika Mandanna quickly. Deepfake technology is a method for manipulating videos, images, and audio using machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI) algorithms. It is to be noted that deepfake can portray a person as indulging in antisocial behaviors and saying things that they never did.
