Apple’s CEO Tim Cook and team unveiled the much-anticipated devices on September 9, Monday, and it has been a buzz around every nook and corner of social media. Once it was released, netizens started discussing designs and features. Social media has been puttered with various opinions and comments. Some users stated that the company brings the same model every year with random features. A user commented on X that the new iPhone 16 is absolutely nothing with a whopping price of $800 not having a high refresh rate display.


When it comes to camera features, the new Camera Control button stands unique which is an easier way to quickly access camera tools. However, many are not satisfied with the features of the iPhone series as they criticise Apple for not bringing innovative ideas rather than pondering on Apple Intelligence which is similar to ChatGPT and has already been introduced by many other brands.


Another user wrote, comparing the new iPhone 16 with its predecessors: “Better screen is one of Apple’s biggest marketing tools. The top is a 12 Pro Max. The bottom is the brand spanking new iPhone 16 Plus. 4 years, you get 2 pixels per inch. 0.5 a year is bad. So basically the same screen from 12. To 13. To 14. To 15. To…16. I’ll wait until 17.” 

Some users said that the rip-off price almost looked like its predecessors, not something appreciable and the colours were not so welcoming. Users also mocked the company saying that Apple as a company seems expanding but not growing.
