'India Among Countries Felt Most Unsafe': Female Traveller Shares Experience In North

New Delhi: Sarah Woodard, a solo traveller and famous content creator who has explored over 102 countries, recently listed out countries where she felt most unsafe while traveling alone.

The travel influencer is known to share experiences and share insights from the places she visited through her social media platforms. Notably, the influencer described India as among the most unsafe country to travel to in particular, as she faced constant stare from people. In a post titled ‘Countries I Felt Unsafe in as a Solo Female Traveler,’ Sarah ranked India among the most unsafe places she visited.

Talking about her trip to India, which she had planned for a long time, Sarah said that she felt like people constantly watching her when she was in the northern part of India, making it difficult her to explore the destinations.

She says her taxi driver asked her to get inside the car when people around her started to star at. She admits that she did not feel comfortable having her phone and other valuables out and did not feel safe either herself too. Sarah further pointed out that seeing stray animals roaming around everywhere in the northern also made her terrified.

Though the safety in India is a topic of controversy as it changes based on individuals’ perspectives and experiences, and the areas of the country where the travellers are visiting, several other content creators have also referred their experience in North India as compatible with the idea that the country is lacking in security.

However, in her reel, the solo traveler described Namibia as one of the scariest places of her travels, where she encountered cheating, among other harrowing experiences.
