The actor-film maker and founder of the Jana Sena Party (JSP) Pawan Kalyan today took oath as the deputy chief minister of Andhra Pradesh. He arrived in Vijayawada yesterday for the swearing-in ceremony along with his wife and kids.
Notably, the swearing-in moment of the JSP founder was filled with fan’s expressions of happiness, shouting slogans and hailing the actor cum politician’s poll victory. Telugu megastar and elder brother of Pawan, Chiranjeevi’s presence fueled the ecstasy of the fans and the warm sibling moments between the two left audiences emotional. Pawan Kalyan sought the blessings of Chiranjeevi, hugging him, spreading a warm gesture.
The entire mega family headed by Chiranjeevi, Ram Charan and his sisters and extended family were also present at the function.

The super happy moments were received with slogans hailing the Jana Sena chief. Pawan Kalyan started his party around ten years ago and has been struggling to establish the party’s presence in the Andhra political landscape. However, in the 2024 assembly election, his party contested in alliance with TDP and BJP as an NDA member.
Creating history, JSP won all 21 seats it contested, heralding his party’s influence in state politics. Many described the moment as a crucial day for Telugu film industry.
The star hero won the Pithapuram constituency, defeating YSRCP’s Vanga Geetha Viswanath by a majority of 70,279 votes.
