Elon Musk's Cryptic Post On Israel-Iran Tensions

Elon Musk Says Rockets Should Be Send Not At Each Other But To The Stars

Amidst the fragile tension between Iran and Israel, Elon Musk shared a cryptic post on his X (formerly twitter). The SpaceX owner made an apparent call for peace hours after an unconfirmed Israeli strike on Iran”s airbase was reported. While the both Tehran and Tel Aviv are on the brink of an all-out war on each other, Musk says rockets should not be send on each other, “but rather to the stars”.

Amidst Israel”s ongoing brutal war on Gaza that started after Hamas attacked Tel Aviv on October 7th, Musk visited Israel in November. The Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu took him to Kibbutz, which was majorly affected by Hamas attack in October. After the Israeli visit, Hamas invited Musk to Gaza to witness the extent of Israeli assault on the civilians and civilian infrastructure of Gaza. Senior Hamas official Osama Hamdan stated in a press conference in Beirut that they were inviting him to visit Gaza to observe the extent of the massacres and destruction committed against the people of Gaza, in compliance with the standards of objectivity and credibility. Musk did not welcomed the invitation.

Further more, in an interview, which was released on November 9, Elon Musk said that it is appropriate for Israel to find the Hamas members and either kill them or incarcerate them. He said, “I think it’s appropriate for Israel to find the Hamas members and either kill them or incarcerate them, that’s something that has to be done because they are going to keep coming otherwise”.

Elon Musk also asked Israel to ensure the availability of humanitarian aid, including medical support, food, and water, to the people in the Gaza region. “The question is – For every Hamas member that you kill how many did you create? If you create more than you’ve killed then you’ve not succeeded,” said Elon Musk. He also pointed out that Israel can minimize the growth of terrorist organizations by addressing the root causes of hatred.
