Israel is now waging war on Lebanon with the same tactics it used in Gaza, experts said. The cross-border fire exchange rapidly escalated with the pager blasts in Lebanon, which was widely attributed to Israel. Here are some key takeaways from the ongoing aggression:
Kan, an Israeli public broadcaster, reported that Israel is preparing for a possible ground invasion in Lebanon. According to the report, Israel’s Defence Minister Yoav Gallant met soldiers training for a ground invasion scenario. There was no immediate comment from the Israeli army on the report.
Israel said it is carrying out “extensive” strikes in Lebanon. This comes after Hezbollah said it attacked Israeli intelligence agency Mossad’s Head Quarters near Tel Aviv.

Foreign Ministers of Egypt, Iraq and Jordan have condemned Israel’s “aggression” against Lebanon, warning that it is “pushing the region towards all-out war”. The remark was made in a joint statement issued after a meeting on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly in New York.
As per media reports, there are more than 500,000 displaced people in Lebanon, a country that is already bankrupt and with few resources.
Protestors gathered across US. From Los Angeles to New York, and Washington DC, the protestors demanded America to withdraw its military support for Israel in the face of its mounting aggression in Gaza and Lebanon. Anti-war activists, chanting slogans including “Hands off the Middle East” and “Free Palestine”, demanded an arms embargo against the US ally.

Antonio Guterres, the UN chief, called on the international community to “mobilize for an immediate ceasefire, the immediate & unconditional release of all hostages, and the beginning of an irreversible process towards a two-state solution”.
The Israel intensified the attack on Lebanon. The Israeli Occupation Force (IOF) said it has conducted a series of air strikes on Lebanon in four waves, one of the largest campaigns in its history, with 250 fighter jets dropping 2,000 munitions.
More than 560 people were killed by the Israeli strikes, and nearly 2000 were injured in Lebanon.
