Trump Calls Biden A 'Bad Palestinian' And Wants To Continue Supporting Israel

The US Republican candidate Donald Trump attacked US President Joe Biden for not being supportive enough of Israel’s war on Gaza, during the first 2024 presidential debate. He went on to say that he supports the continuation of Israel’s military operations.

While answering the question of bringing the US hostages back, the Democratic party presidential candidate and the current US President Joe Biden blamed Hamas for not accepting the ceasefire agreement proposed by Israel and accused Hamas of continuing the war. However, Netanyahu publically said that he opposes a permanent ceasefire agreement.

Trump said in response, “The only one who wants to keep going is Hamas. Actually, Israel is the one [that wants to continue the war], and you should let them go and let them finish the job”. Attacking Joe Biden, Trump added, “He doesn’t want to do it. He’s become like a Palestinian, but they don’t like him because he’s a very bad Palestinian. He’s a weak one”.

However, in his April remark to conservative radio host Hugh Hewitt, Trump commented, “What I said very plainly is get it over with and let’s get back to peace and stop killing people.” The recent remarks during the presidential election debate are a new addition to Trump’s response to the war in Gaza.

Earlier, he also openly criticized the footage of the destruction of Gaza that was released by Israel’s defense forces. He called the tapes of the falling of buildings as heinous and horrible. Responding to the question of ruling out withholding or conditioning aid to Israel, Trump said ‘no’.
