Massive Blast At Crowded Market In northwestern Pakistan; At Least 9 Killed
Islamabad, Pakistan: In a tragic incident in northwestern Pakistan, a bomb blast at a crowded market has resulted in at least nine death, and several injuries on Tuesday, May 12.
The incident happened at the crowded Naurang Bazar, causing panic on the street. The emergency services rushed to the spot and shifted the wounded people to the hospitals. Visuals from the area showed damages to shops and vehicles in the street.

According to Mohammad Ishaq, the medical superintendent of THQ Hospital, the hospitals received 37 patients so far and that some of them were in critical condition.
The tragic attacks happens just two days after a car bombing by an ambush at a police post in the nearby Bannu district on Saturday. The attack had killed killed 15 police officers.

The growing bomb threat at public places comes amid the rising cross-border fire exchange between Pakistan and Afghanistan. Pakistan had blamed Afghanistan-based militants for Saturday’s attack, which the Afghanistan did not respond to.
