In India, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has introduced the eagerly anticipated Transalp XL750 adventure tourer. Reservations for the middleweight adventure cycle, which has a price tag of Rs 11 lakh (ex-showroom), have opened at all Honda BigWing shops nationwide. The delivery schedule is set to start next month.

The new Honda Transalp XL750 has a modernized front end with a twin headlamp arrangement, while maintaining its famous form. Additionally, a newly designed windscreen composed of Durabio, a sustainable bio-engineered plastic, is included. By better rerouting airflow, the updated windscreen improves rider comfort through enhanced wind deflection. Furthermore, Ross White and Graphite Black are the two new colour options available for the model.

A new 5.0-inch full-colour TFT instrument screen that employs optical bonding to enhance visibility in direct sunlight is one of the innovations added to the Transalp XL750. The Honda RoadSync app, which provides voice commands, audio control, and turn-by-turn navigation, is compatible with this console. On the left side of the handlebar is a lighted, four-way toggle switch that controls the instrument panel.

In terms of hardware, the XL750 Transalp is supported by spoke wheels that are 18 inches in the back and 21 inches in the front. Showa 43mm SFF-C upside-down front forks and a Pro Link rear shock absorber handle suspension chores. Honda claims that in order to improve control on uneven terrain, the suspension’s compression and rebound damping have also been enhanced. Dual front 310mm wave discs with hydraulic 2-piston calipers and a rear 256mm single disc with a 1-pot caliper and dual-channel ABS as standard perform the braking tasks.

A 755cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine that produces 90 horsepower and 75 Nm of maximum torque powers the Honda Transalp XL750. It is connected to a six-speed gearbox using a slip and assist clutch. Honda has boosted low- and mid-range performance by fine-tuning the fuel-injection system to improve throttle responsiveness.

Honda claims to have increased the throttle response and low- and mid-range power by fine-tuning the fuel-injection system, despite the engine and its output being unaltered. Throttle-by-wire, Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC), and five rider-customisable riding modes—Sport, Standard, Rain, Gravel, and User—are examples of electronic riding aids.
