Kia Carens Clavis Breaks Cover With Evolutionary Design Update Over The Existing Carens
Today’s Carens Clavis is a more upscale iteration of the Carens. Kia has confirmed to us that the new vehicle, which was previously thought to be a facelift of the Carens, will be a premium product that sits above the Carens in the Kia lineup. The Carens will continue to be available for purchase. In recent months, there have been multiple sightings of MPV test mules.
Prior to its release, the South Korean automaker has hinted at the new Clavis on social media. Today, the Clavis will be launched, and in June of this year, its pricing will probably be revealed. As the new Kia Carens Clavis is unveiled, stay tuned to Express Drives for all the latest live updates.

It is expected that the new Kia Clavis will continue to use the same 1.5-liter normally aspirated gasoline engine, 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine, and 1.5-liter diesel engine as the Carens. Six-speed manual, six-speed clutchless manual, six-speed torque converter automatic, and seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmissions are available.
The Clavis’s new LED headlamp arrangement, which features a distinctive three-pod design enclosed in a triangular frame, makes the front fascia stand out, as seen in the most current teasers. The updated front bumper and reworked grille are flanked by these headlights. With the possible exception of new alloy wheel designs, the overall shape and side profile seem to have remained quite intact.
Level 2 ADAS, which includes safety technologies including adaptive cruise control, blind spot collision, lane keep assist, departure warning, and forward collision avoidance help, will be standard on the Kia Carens Clavis. In addition to ADAS, the Clavis will have a 360-degree camera, a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), six airbags, electronic stability control (ESC), front and rear parking sensors, and more.
With features like a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system (the largest in the segment), a 12.3-inch digital instrument console, wireless Apple CarPlay or Android Auto, a panoramic sunroof, dual-zone climate control, and—most importantly—Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance System, the new Kia Carens Clavis will be a more expensive option.
The new Clavis will be an extension of the departing Carens, as recent teasers have proven. With additional features and likely more capacity, the new model, which will be called the Kia Carens Clavis, will be positioned as a more expensive alternative to the current Carens.
