MG M9 MPV Will Be Showcased At Auto Expo

At the newly revealed MG Select stores, the MG M9 will be the brand’s second high-end all-electric vehicle after the sporty Cyberster sports car. The next Auto Expo 2025 in New Delhi, which begins on January 17, will include both models. In order to get input from customers, the MG M9 was first displayed in India as the Mifa 9 MPV during the 2023 Auto Expo. The MG M9 MPV, which is expected to retail for about Rs 65 lakh (ex-showroom), has a roomy three-row, seven-seater interior with second-row reclining ottoman seats that have eight massaging modes. Numerous more creature pleasures will be included, including twin sunroofs, seat ventilation, a separate touchscreen display for the second row, three-zone temperature control, and a motorized sliding rear.

The MG M9’s appearance is a conventional MPV-like boxy shape, yet it has a lot of unique design elements. The turn signals are located at each corner of a full-width LED light bar that is mounted on the upright nose. The chrome outline that surrounds the headlights, which are mounted at the bumper, blends in well with the chin. The license plate and sensors are located in the fake air dam at the bottom of the bumper. More chrome accents and vertical taillights with a drop-down appearance are added to the back, and they are once more joined by an LED light bar. The rear has several small creases and cuts, and the bumper has more chrome.

MG Motor India plans to open its high-end MG Select stores in 12 locations at first. The M9, a premium product, will target buyers wishing to purchase the Carnival, which has a diesel engine, or the more costly Vellfire, which has a petrol-hybrid configuration, as a result of the increased demand for luxury MPVs. The M9 MPV, on the other hand, has a 90kWh battery and a fully electric drivetrain, which gives it a stated WLTP range of 430km. At Auto Expo 2025, MG Motor India is anticipated to provide further information on its MG Select premium outlets, the M9, and the Cyberster EV. The MG M9 and Cyberster EV highlight MG’s push into premium electric mobility, redefining luxury MPVs with innovation and sustainability.
