New Triumph Street Scrambler 400 To be Launched Soon; Would Sit Between The Speed 400 And The Scrambler 400 X
Triumph is putting a lot of effort into the 400cc market. The Scrambler 400 XC, a more off-road-focused variant of the Scrambler, will be the third bike on the list after the Speed 400 and the Scrambler 400 X. But Triumph isn’t stopping there; the Street Scrambler 400 is another model in the works. The features of the motorbike, which was recently spotted undergoing testing in Europe, are intriguing. Triumph plans to add the Street Scrambler 400 to its 400cc portfolio, giving riders a sleek and adaptable middle-ground choice by combining urban functionality with a little off-road ability.
You can tell the motorbike belongs to the Triumph 400 family just by looking at it. However, it also appears to be more road-friendly than the Scrambler 400 X but has a more off-road appearance than the Speed 400. This suggests that the bike will fall anywhere in Triumph’s portfolio between the Speed 400 and the Scrambler 400 X.

The handlebar, headlamp, and fuel tank are all taken from the current Triumph bikes, but the bike has a few unique design elements. In addition, it has alloy wheels, USD forks, a monoshock for the back, and dual-channel ABS disc brakes on both ends. The same electronic nannies seen in the Speed 400 and the Scrambler 400 X are anticipated to be included.
Power will also come from the same engine, a 398cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled unit with 40 horsepower and 37 Nm of torque. The motorcycle, which will be linked to a six-speed transmission, is expected to be introduced either late this year or early next year. The forthcoming Triumph Street Scrambler 400 is expected to achieve the ideal mix of modest off-road prowess and urban maneuverability.
