Raymond Group chairman and managing director Gautam Singhania“s estranged wife, Nawaz Modi Singhania, has reportedly demanded 75 percent of Gautam Singhania’s total net worth as divorce settlement. The Economic Times reported that Nawaz Modi Singhania has sought this huge amount as a family settlement for herself and their two daughters, Niharika and Nisa. As per Forbes, the industrialist has a net worth of ₹11,658 crore.

The Economic Times reported that the billionaire industrialist is believed to have largely agreed to the demand made by Nawaz Modi Singhania. At the same time, Gautam Singhania suggested creating a family trust, and the wealth and assets would be transferred to this trust. However, Gautam Singhania would be the only managing trustee. Upon his death, his family members will have the right to inherit his wealth. But Nawaz Modi has reportedly disagreed with this suggestion. Both parties have not yet reached a final decision.

Gautam Singhania had announced the divorce news on November 13. The Raymond Group MD said in his X handle that he and Nawaz Modi, a professional fitness trainer, have decided to pursue different paths. The couple had tied the knot in 1999. Before tying the knot, Gautam Singhania and Nawaz Modi had also dated each other for several years. “I am parting ways with her while we continue to do what is the best for our two precious diamonds Niharika and Nisa,” wrote the billionaire industrialist in a post on X on November 13.
