BSEB Invites Application From Teachers For Its Free Coaching Programme

The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) is inviting applications from teachers for its JEE and NEET free coaching programme. The last date to register is February 29 and teachers can register at the board’s official website.

To apply for the BSEB’s free coaching programme, candidates from Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology backgrounds, should have a minimum of 1 year of teaching experience in a prominent coaching institute. Teachers can opt to teach in one or more districts of Bihar and the selected individuals will be called for the Demo class on March 18.

Notably, the Bihar Board provides free coaching for Engineering and Medical Entrance Examinations to students from economically weaker families. The free coaching is provided to students appearing for the Class 10 annual secondary examination. The objective is that the education of students does not get hampered due to economic reasons.

According to the information furnished on the BSEB website, the initiative aims to provide free coaching recognising the importance of quality coaching and its role in competitive exams such as JEE and NEET. Under the free residential coaching initiative, considering the financial constraints, the board also provides hostel facilities and free meals.

The free coaching programme by BSEB are provided in various districts in Bihar including Patna, Muzaffarpur, Chhapra, Darbhanga, Saharsa, Purnia, Bhagalpur, Munger and Gaya. Experienced faculties teaching in different institutes in cities such as Kota, Hyderabad, Delhi, and Calcutta are invited to teach under the free coaching program.

The free special coaching is provided by Bihar State Backward Classes Finance and Development Corporation and Bihar School Examination Board. Students are selected via a two-stage process including a written test and interview.

Another similar well-known program ‘Super 30’ under the banner of Ramanujan School, is also run in Patna, Bihar. The program was founded by Anand Kumar, a mathematics teacher, who selects talented candidates from economically underprivileged sections and trains them for JEE, every year. The program was also portrayed in the 2019 film, Super 30 starring Hrithik Roshan.
