CBSE Examinations For Class 10 and 12 Set To Start From Today

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) examinations for Classes 10 and 12 began today, February 15. The examination commenced from 10:30 am onwards and the Central Board has advised students to reach before 10 am to their respective examination centers.

The CBSE Class 10th examinations will conclude on March 13 while the CBSE Class 12 examinations will end on April 2.

In a statement released by the CBSE, it disclosed that over 39 lakh students from India and 26 countries abroad are set to appear for the examinations. In Delhi alone, 5,80,192 students from 877 examination centers are expected to participate.

It is to be mentioned that CBSE examinations are being conducted amid the ongoing farmers” protests and the board issued an advisory to ask students to reach earlier at schools. In a recent advisory issued yesterday board asked centres to assist students to comply with the advisory.

In the capital, students are advised to take the Metro route to reach their centers. Students are advised to visit their examination centers in advance and devise a travel plan to avoid any last-minute complications.

Notably, CBSE has issued multiple advisories and directives to the educational institutions and for parents and their wards regarding the smooth conduct of examinations. Recently CBSE released an advisory for Type 1 Diabetic students and released an alert to avoid any miscreants during the examination days.

According to a recent report, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has introduced a biometric authentication process to curb impersonation and malpractices in its exams.
