The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released sample question papers for class 10 and 12 final exams 2024.

The Board has released paper revamping its older exam structure. The questions are more competency focused and this pattern was reflected in the recent board papers.

These type of practice papers are developed to facilitate the students in solving more application-based questions of high order thinking skills and to enhance conceptual understanding of the topics.

To prepare the students for their future Boards, CBSE has been providing additional practice papers along with the marking scheme for the past two years in their official website.

The style of the questions in the practice set is the same as new and revised Board sample papers released. As per the official blueprint, the CBSE sample question papers of 2023-24 for class 10 and 12 will be 50% competency based.

The sample papers are designed to mimic the format and difficulty of the actual examination. With the sample questions provided, students will be able to prepare well for the exams by reducing their anxiety and boosting their performance.

However, the Centre Board has asked the students not to depend on private publisher’s site for CBSE sample question papers.

“The public is advised not to be misled by any claims and promotions”, said in the circular issued by CBSE.

As per the circular no. Acad-45/2023 released on 6th April 2023 has already announced that 50% of the questions will be competency based. Students can download the practice papers from the academic website of the board, cbseacademic.nic.in.
