The final placements for the Batches of PGP 38 and ABM 19 have been completed by the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Lucknow, resulting in 634 offers for 576 candidates, informed the pioneer management institute.
According to the information furnished this batch was the largest in the 38 years of the history of the institute. IIM informed for 100 percent placement for the current batch.
While the highest foreign salary package (CTC) was Rs 45 lakh, the highest domestic package (CTC) provided to a student was Rs 66 lakh per annum (LPA). Students made an average of about Rs 30 LPA.
Over 250 recruiters from both domestic and foreign companies participated in the recruiting drive. Among the top recruiters across different sectors were ABG, Accenture, Adani Group, Avendus Capital, Bain & Company, BCG, Deloitte, McKinsey, Microsoft, Ola, PwC, Samagra, Shell, VISA, Target, and TAS.
Institutes professors said that IIM Lucknow has always maintained its position as one of the best B-schools in the nation, even in the face of difficult employment market conditions. Despite a challenging economic environment, the institute has demonstrated that it is a top choice for businesses, which is an incredible accomplishment.
According to the IIM Lucknow 2022-24 placement report, institute completed 100% placements by securing 570 offers for 566 students and placing students across different sectors and roles including consulting, finance, general management, IT & Analytics, sales & marketing, operation & retail e-commerce globally.
Recently a screenshot was circulating on social media about the IIM placement. As per screenshot shared by a verified X user, IIM Lucknow reached out to alumni of the 2011 batch for assistance to its 72 students who are unplaced and seeking employment opportunities. This comes amid the reports that various premier management and technological institutes in the country are facing difficulties in complete placements of their talent.
