Super 30 program
Super 30 is an ambitious educational initiative that operates under the banner of “Ramanujan School of Mathematics.” It searches for thirty deserving talents from disadvantaged social groups and prepares them for admission to the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT).
The program has produced hundreds of IITians from very low backgrounds in the last seven years. Students who participate in this program receive meals, housing, and coaching for free.
The application forms are out in the first week of May at Ramanujan School of Mathematics. The test is generally held in May and June. There are 30 objective-type questions equally from Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. The test is one hour long with negative marking.
Super 30 has decided to broaden its availability and reach in response to the increasing demand. This year, entry requirements will not be limited to solely Bihar students. It will be available to students from other states in addition to Bihar. However, the admissions process will still just involve a test.
