In Bhiwani assembly constituency, BJP’s Ghanshyam Saraf won the election over the margin of 32,714 votes. He won the election by defeating CPI(m)’s Om Prakash. Bhiwani assembly constituency lies in the Bhiwani district of Haryana. The constituency has been under the clasp of Ghanshyam Saraf of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

In the 2019 assembly election, Saraf won the seat by defeating Shiv Shanker Bhardwaj of Jannayak Janta Party (JJP) over the margin of 27,884 votes. In 2014, Saraf won the election by defeating Nirmala Saraf on INLD with the margin of 28,597 votes.

There are total 18 candidate racing for the seat this year. major players were Ghanshyam Saraf, CPI (M)’s Om Prakash, Aam Aadmi Party’s (AAP) Indu Sharma, and Independent candidate Abhijeet Lal Singh. Congress is not contesting this year, and has given the seat to CPI(M) under alliance.

In this year’s election, the voter turn-out of Bhiwani was 60.77 percentage. In 2019, the voter turn-out was 71.14 percentage.
