"KCR Will Bid Bye-Bye From The Chief Minister's Post:" Rahul Gandhi

Congress MP Rahul Gandhi pledged to people of Telangana that he will return the money which Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao looted from them. Addressing a public rally in poll-bound Telangana on Wednesday, the Congress leader accused KCR government for the corruption practices and of deceiving people. Mr Gandhi said: “First, he (Telangana CM K Chandrashekar Rao) will bid bye-bye from the chief minister”s post. Then, we will ask questions about the money looted from the people of Telangana by KCR.”

He then affirmed: “I have made up my mind that the money looted by the Chief Minister will be put back in your pockets.”

Taking aim at Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Mr Gandhi announced, “I am not Narendra Modi. When I make a promise, I strive to fulfill it.” Congress leader added that though Mr Modi ensured Rs 15 lakh, the recovered black money placed overseas, will be deposited to everyone”s bank account, till now, no money has been transferred.

About central agencies attacking opposition in every state, Congress MP responded that even though election is between BRS and Congress, in reality BRS, BJP and AIMIM are working together. There are ED, CBI, IT and vigilance cases against opposition leaders. Adding further, Mr Gandhi said, “They register cases and attack whoever fights them but your Chief Minister has no cases against him…This is because PM Narendra Modi and your Chief Minister are together.”

On Tuesday, Congress MP addressed a rally in Telangana”s Kollapur and alleged that electoral battle is between “Dorala Telangana” (feudal lords) and “Prajala Telangana” (people”s Telangana).

Telangana will go to booths on November 30, and the counting of the votes will take place on December 3.
