Kerala Assembly Elections 2026: Congress’ T. Siddique Wins Kalpetta With Massive 45,031 Vote Margin
As per Election Commission data, Adv. T. Siddique of the Indian National Congress has secured a landslide victory in the Kalpetta constituency with 97,379 votes. He defeated P. K. Anil Kumar of the Rashtriya Janata Dal, who polled 52,348 votes.
Siddique won the seat with a huge margin of 45,031 votes after the completion of all 17 rounds of counting. The massive gap clearly shows overwhelming voter support for the Congress candidate in the constituency.

BJP candidate Prasanth Malavayal finished third with 19,175 votes, far behind the top two candidates. The figures indicate that the contest was largely one-sided, with the Congress candidate dominating from the early stages of counting.
The consistent and widening lead maintained by Siddique throughout the counting process played a key role in securing this decisive victory. The margin is one of the highest in the constituency, reflecting a strong shift in voter preference.

With this result, the UDF registers a major win in Kalpetta, significantly strengthening its position in the overall election outcome.
