Indian National Congress’ Balram Dangi wins the assembly election. He won the election by defeating Haryana Jan Sevak Party’s Balraj Kundu with the margin of 18,060 votes. In the third position is independent candidate Radha Ahlawat. BJP is at the fifth position.

The Meham assembly constituency lies in the Rohtak district of Haryana. During the 2019 Haryana assembly election, Independent candidate Balraj Kundu won the seat by defeating Anand Singh Dangi of Indian National Congress with the margin of 12,047 votes. In the 2014 election, Anand Singh won the seat by defeating Shamsher Singh Kharkara over the margin of 9,657 votes.

According to the Election Commission of India, the estimated voter turn-out of Meham constituency in 2024 was 73 percentage. In the 2019 election, the voter turn-out was 80.9 percentage and in 2014, it was 77.77 percentage.

Over 19 candidates are in the fray vying for the seat. The key players in are Indian National Congress’ Balram Dangi, Haryana Janasevak Party’s Balraj Kundu, BJP’s Deepak Hooda, and AAP’s Vikash Nehra.
