We Should Have 'One Nation, One Nation Education': Arvind Kejriwal

Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party leader Arvind Kejriwal said the country needs a “one nation, one election system” rather than a “one nation, one election”. He was responding to the central government”s efforts to synchronize the Lok Sabha and state assembly elections. The Delhi chief minister was addressing a meeting in poll-bound Rajasthan”s Jaipur.

He took a dig at Prime Minister Narendra Modi, saying that the PM now has another policy, which is called “one nation, one friend”. This was in reference to the latest allegations that have been leveled against industrialist Gautam Adani.

Mr Kejriwal listed out his achievements in the national capital and asked the Rajasthan voters to give his party a chance to deliver those achievements in the Congress-ruled state. He promised free electricity, free education, health guarantee, and jobs for the people of Rajasthan.

“We will waive off all previous electricity bills in Rajasthan (if voted to power). There will be 24-hour electricity supply. I am also taking guarantee of providing quality and free education to your children,” he said.

He added that the AAP is the only party in the country that talks about work.

“The AAP is a trustworthy, nationalistic, and patriotic party, and our lives are for this country. Can you tell me of a party in this country in the last 75 years that said they would build schools for your children? Did anyone say they would build hospitals for you? They all made money,” he said.
