Ajith Kumar‘s upcoming action entertainer Good Bad Ugly is packed with suspense and thrills for this summer. Since this Adhik Ravichandran film is the hot topic right now, new updates about the film continue to storm the internet. Recently, an alleged plot of the film also surfaced online, drawing comparisons between another blockbuster film of Thalapathy Vijay.
The teaser of Good Bad Ugly, released weeks ago, introduced Ajith Kumar as a rugged gangster in a never-before-seen avatar. However, the teaser hides the major plot of the story by just introducing AK as a gangster. But recently, an alleged plot of the film is making waves on the internet, while carrying significant similarities with Vijay’s blockbuster film Leo.

So what was that alleged plot?
The synopsis, widely circulated on the internet, read, “A fearless don tries to change his ruthless ways and violent life to live peacefully with his family in society. However, his dark past and brutal actions continue to follow him. He faces them head-on and overcomes them. This is a tale of vengeance, loyalty, and the cost of power.”
Naturally, netizens started drawing comparisons with Lokesh Kanagaraj-Vijay’s Leo. In Vijay’s film, the protagonist runs a business and maintains a low profile to protect his family. However, his violent past catches up with him, forcing him to seek revenge on those who wronged him. Fans found this storyline strikingly similar to Good Bad Ugly.

Fans also compared the supposed plot with Suriya’s upcoming action entertainer Retro. Another comment read, “Thambi idhu retro, don’t spread rumours (Brother, its retro, don’t spread rumours).”

Ajith Kumar’s Good Bad Ugly is all set for a grand theatrical release on April 10. The film will hit theatres in multiple languages, including Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Hindi, and Malayalam.
The film features a stellar ensemble cast, including Trisha Krishnan, Arjun Das, and Shine Tom Chacko. Filming spanned across Hyderabad, Spain, and the UK, concluding in December 2024.
