Akshay Kumar's Action Entertainer 'Sky Force' Hit Theaters Today (Image-X/MaddockFilms)
Akshay Kumar and Veer Pahariya’s action film, Sky Force, directed by Abhishek Anil Kapur and Sandeep Kelwani, has landed in theatres to mesmerise the audience today, January 24.
Produced by Dinesh Vijan and Amar Kaushik under Maddock Films and Jyoti Deshpande under Jio Studio, the anticipated project of the Sarfira actor also stars Veer Pahariya (in his acting debut) alongside Sara Ali Khan and Nimrat Kaur in lead roles.

The film, which already raised the audience’s interest with its action-filled trailer and heartwarming songs, has also received an impressive reception in advance bookings. As per reports, in a mere three hours of ticket sales, the film racked up an impressive 18,375 tickets in Hindi, with advance booking revenues soaring to Rs 40 lakh on its opening day.
The Hindi 2D version of the film has earned Rs 1,47,78,511.38 from 62,938 tickets. The average ticket price is almost Rs 260. For its 2D IMAX format, the film has, as of now, earned Rs 6,37,670 with an average ticket cost of Rs 400.
Sky Force is based on India’s attack on the Sargodha airbase of Pakistan in the Indo-Pakistani air war of 1965. Get ready to witness the history of the first-ever retaliatory airstrike in India as Sky Force lands in theatres today.
About this ambitious project, Akshay Kumar also shared his thoughts on his X handle, stating, “I’ve been a part of over 150 films, but there’s something uniquely powerful about the words “based on a true story.” And to top it off, stepping into the uniform of an Air Force officer has been nothing short of incredible. Sky Force is an untold story of honor , courage and patriotism that deserves to be shared.”
