With flashes of rituals, deaths, investigations, and fuming anger, what does the upcoming mystery thriller series of actress Trisha Krishnan about to deliver? The audience got a sneak peek at the concealed mysteries of Brinda, with its latest trailer release.

Brinda, the upcoming thriller series of actress Trisha will land on Sony Liv on August 2. The makers have introduced the world of Brinda, with the team unveiling its first teaser yesterday. With multiple incidents taking place around Brinda, the trailer promises another mysterious ride with Trisha.

The trailer opens in an area being readied for carrying out a ritual. A girl can be seen tied to a stone bound with red thread, with two women smearing turmeric paste on her face, kumkum on her forehead, and spill some liquid over her head as she screams with fear. A voice narrates, “We may have anger, betrayal, and hatred within us. But it’s not with these that we should battle. Rather, fight with the good in us, making sure it doesn’t fade away.” From there, the teaser shifts into high gear, highlighting that the series will be an emotional rollercoaster and a thrilling ride.

“A time when everything seemed lost, she came as the light at the end of the tunnel,” reads the show’s tagline in its official statement.

This new gripping series from Surya Manoj Vangala (writer and director) will mark actress Trisha’s OTT debut. The trailer also reveals that the series will stream in all major languages Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Hindi, Bengali, Kannada, and Marathi.

Speaking about Brinda, Vangala said, “I am thrilled to bring this series to a pan-India audience through SonyLIV. With its suspenseful plot and unexpected twists, Brinda will not only enthrall viewers but also make them reflect on their own beliefs. It is a powerful, female-led narrative, and I am extremely happy to direct this series. Brinda’s character is layered unraveling different aspects as the story progresses. With an ensemble cast, Brinda also features Indrajith Sukumaran, Jaya Prakash, Aamani, Ravindra Vijay, Anand Sami, and Rakendu Mouli in key roles. Padmavathi Malladi has also worked on the show as a co-screenwriter.
