Dunki Advance Booking Soring High Overseas
Shah Rukh Khan’s Dunki will hit the theatres on 21st December. Soring high with the astronomical success brought in by Pathaan and Jawan, the star is gearing up for his next hit. The advance booking for Dunki is breaking records in overseas.
Earlier, the movie struggled a little to gain a decent opening for the advance ticket booking in US for limited screens. But after the trailer was launched, the film has seen a huge jump in the booking. According to media report, Dunki tickets are currently sold in 286 locations with 808 shows and so far has sold more than 2001 tickets. Few days ago, it was only 30 tickets collected from 251 location. Advance booking for the movie in India is not started yet.
According to latest report, in US, the film has got more than $42,000 booking while in UK, it has garnered more than 18, 900 pounds. The movie will have an opening for more booking with more shows from today onwards, as said by Movie Hub.
Dunki was originally planned for a solo release but will be collided with Prabhas starrer Salaar, which is also a much-anticipated movie. Salaar was initially planned to release on September but due to delay in post-production work, the movie was postponed. Salaar has also opened advance booking in US and is gaining a very positive opening.
Helmed by Rajkumar Hirani, Dunki is presented by Jio Studios, Red Chillies Entertainment and Rajkumar Hirani Films. Aside from Shah Rukh Khan, the movie also features Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal, Dia Mirza, Boman Irani, Satish Shah, Vikram Kochhar, Anil Grover, Dharmendra, and many others. Dunki is written by Abhijat Joshi, Rajkumar Hirani, and Kanika Dhillon.
The movie is scheduled to release worldwide on December 21. The film marks his debut collaboration with Rajkumar Hirani who is known for his movies, Sanju, 3 Idiots, PK and Munna Bhai series.
