Is Ashok Selvan Playing A Crucial Role In Dhanush's 'Idli Kadai'?
Actor Ashok Selvan, who has been making headlines to be the part of Dhanush’s fourth directorial venture has confirmed that he is not part of the film.
Dhanush who delivered a stellar performance with his second directorial project Raayan, has been adding feathers to his director cap with his upcoming directions Nilavuku En Mel Ennadi Kobam and Idli Kadai.

As the actor-director’s kickstarted his fourth venture, Kollywood actor Ashok Selvan has been rumored to play a crucial role in the film. The filming of the film is under progress in the Theni district of Tamil Nadu. while answering to the ongoing viral claims on Ashok Selvan’s presence in the film, the Blue Star actor has cleared the air stating “I am not part of Idli Kadai”
Responding to the claim which says that the actor is playing as Dhanush’s brother in the film, Ashok Selvan made an official clarification on X, as he wrote “I love Dhanushkraja sir and an ardent fan and look forward to be working with him in the future but, would like to clarify that I am not part of Idly Kadai”

Earlier, actress Nithya Menon has confirmed her participation in the film and with this she will be reuniting with Dhanush for the second time. The pair- Nithya Menon and Dhanush in the film Thiruchitrambalam has widely attracted the audience and this reunion will be great treat to the fans. As per the earlier reports Arun Vijay will be playing the antagonist.
