The 71st Miss World pageant crowned Nita Ambani as the ‘Beauty With a Purpose Humanitarian Award’. The 2024 Miss World pageant held at Jio World Convention Center, Mumbai, bestowed the award to Ambani in recognition of her philanthropy and social work.
During her acceptance speech, Nita Ambani highlighted the crucial role of empowering women in creating a better world. She said, “This honor is not just an individual achievement, but a testament to the power of compassion and service that binds us all together. Throughout my journey, I have been guided by the eternal Indian principles of Satyam, Shivam, and Sundaram. At Reliance Foundation, we are making dedicated efforts to empower every Indian especially women and young girls through education, healthcare, sports livelihood, and promotion of art and culture”.
Ambani grabbed eye balls with her gorgeous traditional Banarasi Jangala saree. The sraee made Nita stand out among the sea of other glitzy appearances. According to details given by Nmacc’s official Instagram page, the saree is “handcrafted from lustrous gold zari and Indian silk, each thread exudes timeless elegance. Its intricate floral jaal, delicately woven with meenakari detailing, is the epitome of grace. Behind every thread and pattern lies 45 days of meticulous effort by skilled artisan Shri Mohammad Islam. Swadesh and Manish Malhotra together bring this marvel to you, showcasing the beauty of Indian artistry on a global stage”.
Priyanka Chopra Jonas, who delivered a video message on the tag line of the pageant, ‘Beauty with Puropose’, praised Nita Ambani for her achievements and dedication for the humanitarian cause.
Krystyna Pyszkova of Czech Republic won the 2024 Miss World title, during a grand event held at Mumbai. The reigning Miss World Karolina Beilawska of Poland crowned Pyszkova at the star-studded finale.
