Setting itself apart from the usual approaches, the film will explore the concept of a vampire, adding an intriguing twist to the typical love story. Scheduled for the next Diwali treat, the film promises a unique blend of horror and romance, or really a “love story.”
Initially titled Vampires of Vijayanagar, the makers are presenting the film with the new title Thama. Introducing the film, Maddock unveiled the title teaser in its classic style with a red and blue palette of animation. Highlighting the blend of horror and romance, the makers wrote, “Dinesh Vijan’s Horror Comedy Universe needed a love story… unfortunately, it’s a bloody one. Brace yourselves for Thama – Diwali 2025!”
Notably, at the end of the record shattering Stree 2 starring Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor, there was a hint of a vampire coming as Varun Dhawan’s Bhasker (from Bhediya) tells Jana (played by an excellent Abhishek Banerjee).
