Among several films garnering the theaters today, comes Stree 2 marking the return of the legend. Promised to offer chills and chuckles on this Independence day, the anticipation over the horror comedy is at its peak.

So, are you ready for the horrific funny ride with Stree 2? Offering an electrifying blend of horror and humor, this sequel has added new characters including Tamannaah Bhatia and Varun Dhawan along with Shraddha Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, and Pankaj Tripathi, promising a funny ride.

The makers have already captured the attention of the fans with Tamannaah’s Aaj Ki Raat single, which made a trendy ride on the internet.  The actress also seems to play a crucial role in the film.

Along with new characters, the movie has also introduced a new spirit Sarkata, to add an extra layer of eeriness to the existing horror. The sequel is expected to take a deep dive into the horrific supernatural environment of the Chanderi village. What’s so horrifying about Sarkata? This new arrival to the town is featured as a headless monster who kidnaps women.

And there took off the union of the villagers and Stree, as the villagers call out the possessed evil as “O stree raksha karna (Oh stree save us)” instead of telling her, “O stree kal aana (Oh stree come tomorrow).” The more mysteries around Stree and Chanderi will be unveiled on screens today.

The film has received a U/A rating from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC), with a runtime of 149 minutes and 29 seconds. The movie has undergone minor modifications, including mentions of celebrities and national monument references.
